Credit Collections (UK) Ltd was formed as a debt recovery agency in 1985. The Joint Managing Directors of the Company are Peter Stubbs and Judy Wright. Both Peter & Judy have been involved with Credit Collections (UK) Ltd since its date of incorporation.

Peter has a long established history within the credit & debt collection industry. This began in 1959 where he began working at Walker & Halls as an Export Clerk. Peter then moved on to Sheepbridge Engineering which later became known as GKN. Peter started at GKN as a Credit Control Clerk & gradually progressed through the Company to become Assistant Credit Manager. Peter therefore spent many years within the engineering & automotive aftermarket credit control & debt recovery environment which has given Peter extensive knowledge and expertise in these fields. Peter left GKN in 1985 to take up his current position at Credit Collections (UK) Ltd.

Judy joined Credit Collections (UK) Ltd in 1985 after finalizing her studies and obtaining qualifications in Business Management & Law & has been with the Company ever since.

Since 1985 Peter and Judy have endeavoured to create a debt collection company which is able to offer an efficient, affordable and seamless service to all clients within the field of credit control. Dedicated and committed staff together with computer systems which offer the latest debt collection & credit control computer technology compliment and enhance the debt collection & credit control services offered by Credit Collections (UK) Ltd.

The core business of Credit Collections (UK) Ltd has always been within the fields of debt collection and credit control. However we also provide Process Serving, Enquiry Agent, Company Search & Credit Reporting services. The core business is essentially split into two distinctive areas, the pre-legal debt collection & credit control side which is overseen by Judy & Peter & the Legal Department which is managed by Kevin Wright. The Legal Department provides legal action debt recovery solutions including the issue of Small Claims, obtaining Judgments (CCJ), Statutory Demands, Winding-up proceedings & all types of enforcement action including Bailiff’s, Attachment of Earnings Orders & Charging Orders.
